Welcome to our first SNFL Group Newsletter of 2020.
Firstly, I would like to wish all our partners around the world a peaceful, healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year.
As I write this on a cold, wet, January morning in Cambridge UK, I am very much looking forward to getting out in the warmth of the table grape vineyards in the year ahead, and of course to meeting up with old friends. South Africa in two weeks time will be a welcome relief from the British winter!
Right now, many of our partners in the Southern hemisphere are right in the middle of their season, and in the Northern hemisphere are working hard on pruning and planning for the forthcoming season.
We at SNFL are also working hard on analyzing our test results from our new selections and updating our protocols based on last season’s experiences from our teams around the world. Our Grape Genesis team is still very busy with embryo rescue and grafting new selections for our test blocks, as well as planning next season’s crosses. We plan to show you even more exciting new selections from our program’s in the year ahead.
As ever, our primary objective is to provide you with the best possible range of varieties and the support needed to get the optimum results to supply the markets around the world with exceptional quality and innovation.
We will keep you updated through our newsletters and website, and we hope to see you all in person at some of the SNFL events during 2020. For those of you attending Fruitlogistica, Berlin we will be very pleased to see you at stand A18 in Hall 8.2.
With my best wishes,
